As for Damage I knew of the drive shaft, bed side, running board, but once
home I also found a leaking wheel seal, and later after another trip found
I'd also bent the Tie Rod! 2017-04-19 |

To start the 2017 Southern Power Wagon I stopped by and had lunch with my
brother. After arriving in Nashville we took a short road trip for
dinner. 2017-04-27 |

A great time with Old Friends, and some New Friends at the 2017 Southern
Power wagon Rally. Fun trails with some fun challenges. Doug
managed to dent a rear fender, but he banged most of it back out. We ended
the day by taking the train into down town Nashville, and enjoying some good
food at the various locations, and then ended the night at the Wild Horse
Saloon. 2017-04-28 |

The 2nd day of the 2017 Southern Power Wagon Rally started out with
beautiful weather again. However I didn't make it to the trails before
the Power Steering on the M37 decided it had had enough. This time it
took everything I could with both hands to steer the truck, and then smoke
started rising from under the hood. Well we quickly popped the hood
and I pulled the belt from the PS Pump to see if it was seized. It
wasn't but boy was it hoot, along with the steering box. I was even
running the Royal Purple Synthetic fluid, but something some where went
wrong. After removing the belt, the truck steered fine, that is for no
power assist to the box that is. I wheeled the rest of the day
with out Power Steering. Later that evening we had a great feast, and
a fantastic cake before the door prizes and awards were given out. I
won Best Military Vehicle! 2017-04-29 |
